We're Building Financial Clarity
Started in 2019, novaristiq grew from one question: why does business finance feel so complicated? We're here to change that conversation—one practical lesson at a time.
From Confusion to Confidence
Back in 2019, we noticed something odd. Business owners would come to us frustrated—not because they couldn't run their operations, but because financial decisions felt like navigating through fog. The information existed, sure. But it was scattered, jargon-heavy, and disconnected from real day-to-day challenges.
So we started small. Weekend workshops in Maroubra. Coffee chats about cashflow. Eventually, those conversations turned into structured programs that actually made sense to people who had businesses to run.
Today we work with operations across Australia—retail shops, service providers, small manufacturers. The common thread? They want straight answers without the finance-speak. And that's what we've gotten pretty good at delivering.
What Drives Our Approach
-
Plain Language Always
Financial concepts don't need fancy terminology to be useful. We translate the complex stuff into language that makes sense when you're actually making decisions.
-
Real Business Context
Theory is fine, but we focus on situations you'll actually face—seasonal cashflow dips, equipment financing decisions, growth planning with limited capital.
-
Long-Term Thinking
Quick fixes rarely work in finance. We build frameworks that serve your business for years, adapting as your operations evolve and markets shift.
-
Honest Limitations
Not every strategy fits every business. We're upfront about what will work in your specific situation and what won't—even if it means recommending a different path.
The People Behind novaristiq
We're not your typical finance educators. Between us, we've managed retail operations, consulted for manufacturing startups, and yes—made plenty of our own financial mistakes along the way.
Fionnuala Strzelecki

Fionnuala spent twelve years in corporate finance before realizing that small businesses needed that expertise more than multinationals did. She has a knack for turning quarterly projections into actual usable roadmaps.
Kiera Vaillancourt
Business Operations Specialist
After running her own logistics company for eight years, Kiera knows exactly where financial theory meets operational reality. She designs our programs around what actually happens in businesses, not textbook scenarios.
